Great War Generals

I have always believed that General Sir Hubert Gough (died 1963) was the last surviving British General officer of the Great War, am I right or wrong?

Wrong :D Although I don't know who was the last surviving General officer I know that Brigadier-General Rodolph Ladeveze Adlercron died on 12th June 1966. So Gough wasn't the last.

Sir Bertie Drew Fisher commanded 8th Infantry Brigade in 1918. I was a reserve for the lance guard at his funeral in 1972.

By my count the 1960's saw the death of fourteen Great War generals, apart from those already mentioned I found, Brig-General Strode-Jackson died Nov 1972, and Maj-General Spears died Jan 1974.
