Have your chosen URL (web address) ready.
When you have the page open where you compose your post, hit the button marked "http://". This will open a little window where you type in the URL. Then you will be asked for the text that describes the link. When you click OK, the link is automatically added into your post.
A similar process can be used to attach a link to an email address. In this case, click the button marked "@".
You can alternatively just paste a URL into your post, but in this instance the entire URL appears and it cannot be used for email addresses.
