Posting messages on the Forum is really easy.
If you wish to reply to an existing discussion thread, just click on FastReply at the end of the discussion. A box will open up in which you type.
If you wish to start a new discussion, first get yourself into the appropriate area, like "Soldiers". What you should see is a list of titles of existing threads in that area. At the top of the list, on the right you'll see a blue button marker "New Topic". Click that. A new page opens up, with spaces for you to type in an appropriate title and subtitle and for the text of your message. You can preview what it will look like before you submit it.
If you wish to try out the various smilies, fonts, etc there is an area called "A place to play". It is for you to test your skills and get your post looking just the way you want, before you go live.
