Friends,

Is it not time - whilst the nights still have light in the sky - for we London-based or nearly adjacent  Forum pals to have another convivial gathering, of a liquid and possibly fig-roll free nature?

I know it's holiday season, but I thought I'd get the ball rolling. Usual venue? This month or early next?  Over to y'all...

I'm up for it, Phil, and I'm sure Mr Edwards can be persuaded too.  Float a couple of possible dates and let's see who can make them.

I'm up for it, though two caveats:

1. I'm on holiday from the 15th July for a week

2. Work is utter hell at present, so I might fall asleep with my face in a plate of chips ...

Count me in aussi, but I shall try to eat all Broomer's chips before he puts his face in them.

I suggest you quickly replace the plate of chips with a squishy cake and then eat the chips.

Well friends, how about a slot in the (mid?) week of 25 July or 1 August? Catches Mark (I hope) Broomers will be back from holidays...

I have no objection to Mr B falling asleep in his chips; just as long as he doesn't fall asleep in mine

If the date fits in with my work I will be there - Unless it's between 29 July & 7 Aug when I will again be back in France.

Friends,

A pity we will miss one visitor from afar, but does 27 July look like a good mid-point to aim at?

I'll stick my head above the parapet and say I'd be interested in coming along to keep an eye on Mr Gunner in "the doghouse". Either of those weeks is fine for me.

I hate the thought of Mick having to stand outside on his own so count me in for the 27th.

For reasons too numerous to enumerate, and for memories I hold dear, I am delighted to say that I will attend.

Where is it? The Pineapple?

I'll have an early night on the 26th so I can eat Andy's chips before sleeping in my own.

Now the forum-hacking dust has settled, bumping this up a touch, thus:

The Pineapple, Weds 27 July, Start time 1900?
