The IWM Lives of the First World War Project

The GWF Team wish to encourage the commemoration of the Great War Centenary. The Centenary has inspired participation from individuals, communities, archives and national governments, and the GWF hopes to support all forms of remembrance, and especially projects leading to a lasting legacy. The GWF are proud to be official supporters of the Imperial War Museum's Lives of the Great War project, and look forward to assisting in the creation of this new memorial to the men and women of the Great War.
