Not at all, CT, that's brilliant. I stood there surrounded by silence, finding it hard to imagine the bustle and noise of the original photo. You've brought it to life. Well done.........

Any idea why the gravestones in the front are flat? Unstable ground? Maintenance?

IŽll have to read the manual to my comp to see if I ever will be able to anything like that (unlikely unfortunately given my comp skills...).

Thank you for the posts but in particular the post of White City. It is an area of tremendous interest to me and I have always hoping someone might post a then and now photo using the "then" photo you included. The only other one I have for that spot was included in the Twenty Years After series, which is er, a little dated. If you don't mind, I am going to save the photo as a guide for my next trip to France next year.
