the first volume of Österreich-Ungarns letzer Krieg is available online for free and to download!  I've contacted the university of Toronto, the provider, and they promised to post the entire series online in the coming weeks.  I am really excited about this and I hope it helps some of the people on this forum.

Bad luck for those people who paid hundreds of euros for those books ohmy.gif
Did they say anything about uploading the map and illustration volumes? These are rare and very expensive even in Germany/Austria.

Due to many requests I decided to upload what I have of the 'Beilagen and Skizzen' from the Austrian general staff's work on my website.

http://www.freenet-homepage.de/warships-of...main/maps/1.jpg

Just change the number of the jpeg file for the other maps.
I will begin with the first '32 Skizzen', and the other material will follow soon.

The VII. volume is still missing there. I don't think there is any chance that they will upload it at all.

Concerning the maps, I have still a lot more, but the space on my webpage is limited.
If there is anyone with a good idea to get them into the internet without money expense, I could continue to upload them.

@Crapouillot: I got the second volume including maps via the above mentioned interlibrary loan from munich to my local library.
You should just ask if they can get it for you wink.gif

Michael, thank you very much for uploading some of the maps onto your Website. I can probably help with the others. PM me if you think this would be useful.

Thanks, it can be useful !
I maybe will have a last chance in the Army historical service in Vincennes next week, but it will be the last, i hope they will let me do some photos of the maps...
In spite of this, all that you can put on the web will be great !

Searching for a while now for a new webpage hoster, without success, I began to reupload those images on an image sharing website.

http://i992.photobucket.com/albums/af46/SMSKaiser/Maps/1.jpg

as before, just change the number from 1 to x.

At the moment I have uploaded only from 1 to 7 for testing, but I will manage to get more content online as soon as possible.

I have completed now Skizzen 1 to 48, and also to of the maps (named with B before the number).
Unfortunately, the page decreases size of the images, so I am afraid that you cannot see all the details (city names e.g.) on the great maps.

With the following link it is much easier to have an overview about all downloaded images:
