Just thinking aloud......shouldn't this section now be changed to 95th Anniversary?

We've had the 95th anniversary of the outbreak and next year will be the anniversary of Second Ypres, Aubers Ridge, Festubert, Neuve Chapelle, Gallipoli and of course one close to my heart Loos.......

I beleive there will some ceremonies in Loos next year.......

How about "Great War Event Anniversaries" does not seem to be too long of a title. It would rule out extraineous events that are vaguely related but ocurred after Nov. 11,1918.

I believe the Admin Team is already discussing this.
I suggested archiving the 90th Anniversary threads and re-titling the subforum something along the lines of 'Great War Centenaries'.

It's in hand, so to speak.

Cheers,

Nigel

Yes indeed. The discussion was along the lines of archiving the present sub-forum and opening a new one for the centenary. However, some little issue or other has got in the way over the last few weeks.....

Once the more pressing agenda calms down we'll do it. Perhaps a reminder in a few weeks in case we forget?

Allegedly.

By happy coincidence I b*ggered off to France for two weeks when 'it' was at it's steamiest.

The rest of the Admin team love me to bits.
