Hi
I have upload a copy of "The war on the Italian front" written by Luigi Villari and published in London in 1932. It was the only history of the italian front ever published in english language before the ones by Schlinder and Thompson in recent years. I think it makes a good reading alongside the above titles, it offers a different perspective (more biased in Italy's favour) and a lot of interesting informations.

Thank you very much Andrea.   Now, I just wish I knew which regiments my Italian great-uncles were in, and where they fought.

Cheers
Shirley

Unfortunately it is hard to follow the battle descriptions without maps, the book had some sketches but I didn't bother to scan them because they were awful anyway. I'm still looking for some decent substitutes
