True to their word the "Remembering Fromelles" team have done the business and my tickets have just arrived. Many thanks to Eurostar and whoever else laid this on.

I am really looking forward to attending the event - but must remember to be thankful for the luxury of being able to nip over there in great comfort for a day trip and contrast this with the vexing journies that led many men to that fateful place over 90 years ago. We are very lucky people.

We will remember them.

Yes indeed, there will be coach transport to and from Fromelles thrown in - and all for £40 return.  A bargain in this day and age. There may well be some tickets left for those who have not made their arrangements yet.
