Researching a chap who took a commission with the 1st Suffolks, previously with the 1st Lincolnshire
I would like to know what the role of the unit was while in Salonika, the actions they participated in and if anyone has any information on a 2nd Lt. William Bailey Durrands MC(1/Suff. 1917)., DCM(1/Linc. 1914)., Medal of St. George?
This is a new area of research for me.
Cheers,
Dick Whitworth
