'Lost Battalions' was due to be shown in Australia on November 11th. This is now not going to happen on that date. It has been proposed that it be aired on Anzac Day.

Lambis asked me to post this for the Australian members who are patiently waiting to see it.

Bright Blessings

John,
I think the one you are speaking of is the English version. The one I discussed is the Australian one.

Hi there Sandra,
Thanks for the word on the Lost Battalions doco.
A pal on the forum was kind enough to send me a copy of the UK version.
Being an Aussie, I'm very keen to see the Australian one.
I live in the US, so I'll have to put out a post close to ANZAC Day to see if anyone will record it.
Kind regards
Wig

Following received last November from Nacressa Swann of Darlow Smithson Productions, who produced both films:
Channel 7 in Australia is planning to save the Fromelles documentary until Anzac Day 2011 (25th April). There’ll also be a longer version of the programme available on DVD after the broadcast.

Thanks for the heads-up. Looking forward to catching it eventually.

Channel 7 screened the documentary "Lost Diggers of Fromelles" on 25 April.

it appears to be the program mentioned as the producer is the same.
