what a fascinating film record. I wonder which battalion of the Manchesters? Possibly a 'pals' battalion in 1915. The images of their attack, although training, was prophetic for events in the July of 1916. I must say it's probably one of the most telling bits of material on film I have seen for a while.. The main reason for my comments is to bring it to the top of the postings, hopefully more pals could l;ook at it. Many thanks Mons.

Yes, really interesting

It's a pity so few people have seen this (unless they just haven't acknowledged your post...)

Beiing from Macclesfield, the Manchesters and Cheshires are my area of interest and this is really very enlightening

Thanks for find it!
