Thomas Llewelyn Davies,. R.F.A.. For conspicuous gallantry and devotion to duty in reorganising a battery which had lost practically all its officers, N.C.Os., and gunners. Two days afterwards he not only commanded the battery in an attack, but personally laid the guns, and it was due to his splendid example that the battery was able to change its position and come into action.
