Andy will be speaking on:-

Lt-General Sir Thomas D’Oyly Snow

This talk will explore the life, in the main militarily, of Thomas Snow, who would rise from subaltern of the Somerset Light infantry during the Zulu War of 1879 to be a Corps commander during the Great War. Often reviled by history and historians a like we shall not only travel the road that Snow took but examine whether history has been true to an officer who gave nearly 40 years of his life to King and Country.
