Hi Pals

I have recently found a pair of trench art shell cases, marked Souvenir de Quievrain  and POGOGH FREDERICH and with a horse shoe and anvil 1914-1919.

Quievrain is near to Mons but i hope someone could help with what POGOGH FREDERICH means?

            Many thanks

            Jonathan

Hi Jonathon
Always wondered why they called them trench art, could never picture some one banging away at a bit of metal, say 100 yards from the enemy B) .
