I suppose I am slowly coming to the realisation that one can't get blood from a stone -- ie., if the information has never been recorded, then it can't be found. <sigh>
That said, hope springs eternal. For example, maybe, some day, if the leading South African newspapers of the time are digitized, one might be able to find the odd reference to the unit, and then deduce some of its operations and/or movements in the Campaign. At this point I would be over the moon simply to discover which of the three columns the 7th (Rand) Intelligence Corps
If anyone happens to stumble across any information on this unit at any point in the future, I would be most grateful for a "heads-up".
