I am trying to find out where the first Northumberland Fusiliers were located on during the first week of March 1918, in particular on 4th March 1918.

Immediately west of Cherisy. They launched a raid on German trenches opposite 'Lone Sap' on March 3rd.

My great grandfather was killed on this raid. John thomas wakeling. I have a lot of information on him if it assists. Mike
