I shall be in the Thiepval - Ovillers area and the St Quentin - Ham - Peronne area in early April. I will do my best to accommodate any photo requests if at all possible. Please let me know.

Thank you Jonathan.

I'd appreciate these two men on the Thiepval Memorial:

Pte R.T. Gibbison - Durham Light Infantry (14 A and 15 C)
L/Cpl. F.H.Hyland - M.G.C. (5C or 12C)

Hi Jonathan

Very good of you to offer. This might be a bit 'far-out' for you, but if you are anywhere near:

:poppy: Fresnoy-Le-Grand Communal Cemetery Extension
        Pt C W Mellor – Grave A. 6.

... a photo would be great. I'll send my email if you get that far.

Thanks again
Graham

Hi Jonathan,

Would you be going any where near La Chapalette British and Indian Cemetery, Peronne or
St.Quentin Cabaret Military Cemetery.

Regards,

Simon.

St Quentin Cabaret is at Wulverghem, so a bit off Jonathans course I reckon. Have a good visit, hoping to do a big tour around the Marne, Aisne, St Quentin and Le Cateau areas in June, so will be interested to hear how you get on!

Graham C- Fresnoy - Le - Grand looks very close to Riqueval so should not be a problem as our daily tour itinerary starts at Riqueval on 2nd April.
Simon 2 - La Chapalette is not a problem. What photo/s do you require? As Michelle says, St Quentin Cabaret is in Belgium not St Quentin!!

Michelle - We are tracing the footsteps of a single soldier on this day, so our tour will be different to yours but I will let you know what we see and find!!

Regards to all

Jonathan

Apologies Jonathan,

Jumped the gun and let my eyes rule my brain.

Thanks for 'La Chapalette' this is what I need,

GARDNER.W.  //   I.A.5.
GIBBINS.A.F.  //   III.A.2.
RICHARDS.H.  //   I.G.2.

All four men served with the Gloucestershire Regiment.

Have a lovely trip,

Regards,

Simon.

Yes - me too. Excellent photos in difficult (i.e. too sunny!!) conditions and a difficult location to find.

Much appreciated, and one more for my Buxton Memorial website (getting there!)
