A few weeks ago, a conference on the heritage of the WW1 battlefields in Flanders was held in Ypres. the focus was mainly on which inventarisation projects are going on. The presentations are all online now, but only in dutch.

shows the canges that will be made to some well known sites such as the pool of peace, hill 60 and the caterpillar crater, as well as some minor landscape programs to make 'no man's land' visible in the landscape. Some sites will change drastically, don't be suprised!
