I wonder if any forum member could help with any information on what the 13th Bn The RIFLE BRIGADE were doing in July 1917 particularly on or between 03-07 July?

Many thanks

Mark

The war diary can be downloaded from the PRO - WO95/2534.

The 1/7/17 to 7/7/17 Reads - 'The Battalion remained in support in LEFT SECTOR with Headquarters at TORREKEN FARM. Digging and carrying parties were supplied to 153rd Field Company RE and to 13th Bn KRRC who were holding the line.'

I hope this is of assistance.

Regards

Colin
