It is interesting to note that the casualty in HMS ALBION is commemorated on the Helles Memorial, whereas most naval casualties at Gallipoli are on the Naval memorials in UK. Is there a reason for this not to be followed in the case of Acting Gunner Joseph BARRY?
It is also strange that he is listed in the Admiralty Deaths Ledger as k.i.a. but this was lost in transmission to the IWGC.

Well done all concerned; That sounds a very senior rank. How come he was overlooked?

I am afraid not.
A search of the CWGC website just for deaths on 4th August 1914 finds 4 casualties and on the 5th there are 8.
On the sixth there are 158.
