I'm taking a trip up the Belgian coast to do a long distance walk on the first weekend of May. I'll happily take photos within the area for anyone who has any requests. It will be only within the coastal area between Dunkirk and Blankenberge however and I won't be going into the Salient or elsewhere on this trip.

Requests here or PM me.

Chris

Hi Chris,

Thanks for making the offer.

If you are going to the Dunkerque Memorial, please could you phototgraph...

Name: Neden, Murrell Alfred
Rank: Private
Regiment: The Queen's Royal Regiment (West Surrey)
Unit: 2/5th Bn.
Age: 21
Date of Death: 20/05/1940
Service No.: 6092938
Grave/Memorial Reference: Column 37

Name: Noden, Archibald A.
Rank: Lance Corporal
Regiment: Middlesex Regiment
Unit: 2nd Bn.
Age: 27
Date of Death: Between 30/05/1940 and 02/06/1940
Service No.: 6199808
Grave/Memorial Reference: Column 116

Please could I also ask for a few photographs of the memorial itself if possible.

That's quite a long walk you are undertaking, I estimate it's about 40 miles. I hope the weather is kind, and that you enjoy yourself.

Thanks in anticipation

Dave

Hi Dave
Names noted. I'll PM you when I'm back.

I'm actually only doing 15 miles on the Saturday and 15 on Sunday around the Blankenberge area!

It's not a bad idea though!!
