This unit was mentioned in connection with the remembering of Maj. Arthur Kerr Noverre
see http://1914-1918.inv...0

Does anyone have any further details on the 6th Armoured Car Division

Michael

I'm pretty sure that it is an error on the Roll of Honour and should be 6 Armoured Car Company.

I believe the 6th Armoured Car company was formed in Baghdad in 1921. However the 6th Light Armoured Motor Battery using Studebaker armoured cars was operating in Egypt and Palestine in 1917/18

Thanks for your thoughts chaps
I see that Russell has been working in this general area (http://1914-1918.inv...1)
He has not been on forum for a few weeks but hopefully this will catch his eye on his next visit

Thanks again
Michael
