I appreciate it's a long shot, but would anyone have a photo of any of these aircraft:

15 Squadron - 31/10/1917 to 8/2/1918
2257, 2267, B2276, B2280
A3572, A3730 (Shot down 22/11/17)
4393, 4398, 4453 (Forced landing after combat 30/11/17, possibly SOC), 4455
5031
6518, 6532

13 Squadron - 9/2/1918 to 10/5/1918
2300
4362, 4373
B5087 (Possibly SOC 11/4/18 after combat)
C5051
B846 (New a/c 17/4/18)

I appreciate most of the numbers are incomplete lacking, as they do, a letter, but that's how they appear in the pilot's logbook.

Brian, I have a photo of B2276 as part of a squadron line-up. Send me a PM if you'd like me to email you a decent copy, but it will take a week or so as my equipment is being repaired.
Regards
Steve

Apologies Mick 4455 an error on my part, don't know how that slipped in.

In recompense I have B2276 being flown with 15 Sqn on 22.12.1917, and B2280 on 13.1.1918

C2300 appears with 13 Sqn on 9.3.1918.

All the above taken from Douglas's log book.

Apologies for a bit of a cross-posting as this is in a (misnamed ... I now know should be 13 not 12 Squadron) posting on J J Elder but the topic here seemed pertinent

So, something of a long shot

Does anyone have a picture of an RE8 I could use in a booklet on the Hursley War memorial ?

The "perfect" picture would be of one of the RE8's that Lt. J J Elder from Hursey flew (I have details of C2313, F5991 and F5997 from other members of the forum who have already helped me, F5977 being the plane he was lost in), almost as good would be an RE8 of 13 Squadron of which he was a member, but any good RE8 from c. August-Sept 1918 that we can use would be fantastic.

Thanks

Dave
