Can anyone suggest the locations / actions of the 74th Division during  1918 from their return to France from the Middle East to the end of the war?
I am particularly trying to track down what 44 Brigade Royal Field Artillery got up to. If anyone has an overview or can point me to reference material.

I have found this so far:

Thanks
Mick

Mick,
my Great Great Uncle Gunner 184500 Ernest Harry Hart, A battery, 117th Brigade RFA (part of the 74th (Yeomanry) Division), was killed in action on 28th September 1918 and is buried in Roisel Communal Cemetery which is in the Somme region. I will be going to the National Archives in the next month or 2 to dig out the war diary so will be able to provide more detail then.
Not much but hope it helps?

Peter,
thank you. Sorry to be a pain but do you have the grip reference for the map please - I'll have a trawl through the MacMaster's University website.

Thanks,

Ant

Not sure what you mean by grip, but the map is Vielle Chapelle, the area south of Nieppe Forest, 36A square Q 7,8,13,14 area. Hope this helps, Peter
