A service record for Percy is on Ancestry.It is not in very good condition but it is just about readable.
His age on his enlistment papers is given as 20years and323 days and his occupation is a labourer.He attested on 12 August 1914 and was posted on 15 August 1914.  20 March 1915 he was appointed unpaid Lance Corporal. Percy was 5ft 7 ins tall and weighed 126lbs,His complexion was sallow,grey eyes and brown hair. He served at home from 12/8/1914 until 31/5/1915
and with the B E F in France from 1/6/1915 until his death on 13/10/1915, a total of 1 year and 63days.
Percy's next of kin was his father,William Simon Storr of 31 Haseltine Rd, Lower Sydenham SE26.
