Hello everyone,

I will be for my first time in Galiipoli in July, does anyone know a good tour guide I can hire to make the most of my limited time there?

Thank you!

Try contacting Bulent Yilmaz Korkmaz at the Crowded House hotel in Eceabat. An excellent guide and a very nice guy.

If you PM the GWF member the Plummed Goose who lives on the Gallipoli peninsula he will be able to give you a list of excellent guides. If you have not already booked your accommodation I would strongly recommend Gallipoli Houses which is owned and run by the Plummed Goose.

Fully agree with the recommendations of Bulent as a guide, though another option is Kenan Celik, (he has a web page, you can find it through google) who has been a guide on the battlefields for some 30 years. You can't go wrong with either option but that is about it as far as class acts go.

Cheers
Bill
