Hi all.

I require an image of a headstone bearing the above title or as such in Tyne Cot CWGC cemetery or one of the other localy sited collection cemeteries only please. Does anyone have such an image with details that they could share with me please?

I have located hundreds of An Australian soldier of the Great War (KUG) and even an Australian Lieutenant of the Great War (KUG) but I have been unable to locate an unidentified Australian 2nd Lt of the Great War (KUG) grave.

Perhaps AIF only/ 2nd Lt's/ Lt's were all listed as Lt's collectively on unknown Officers headstones only?

If anyone can offer me photographic evidence and location I would appreciate it. Thank you.

Best wishes

Chris

Hi Chris, on my last battlefield trip I did take quite a few photos of unknowns but unfortunately after looking through them I don't have any Lieutenants though I have two unknown AIF Captains, a trench mortar lance corporal and machine gunners.

Regards
Andrew

Thanks Andrew however I also have an unknown Lt but finding an unknown 2nd Lt is proving difficult. I am now wondering were all unknown AIF 2nd Lt's and full Lt's simply listed on unknown headstones as Lt's only?

I hopefully await an image of an unknown AIF 2nd Lt's headstone image from around the Zonnebeke/Broodsiende area.

Thank you anyway.

Best wishes

Chris
