Dear forum members, I am currently having a photo framed of twin brothers who went down on the Formidable 1/1/15. I would love to have a cap badge from their unit - the Royal Naval Auxiliary Sick Berth Reserve. Does anybody know where I could get such a badge please. Thanks very much - Mark

Mark,

As far as I know the only special badge they wore was a sleeve badge of a red cross with the letters SBR below, as in the attached photo. As you will see the rating is wearing a standard red embroidered cap badge of a fouled anchor in a circle below a crown, as worn by ratings not dressed as seamen.

David.

Just to confirm that Arabis is correct.
