A big fear of mine, to have my collection of odds and sods, which i have been collecting for many years, stolen. Worse when the items have a personal value.
So sorry to hear the bad news and hope that at least some good news will be forthcoming in the future. Watch out on ebay!

I hope that your valuables are recovered and that the thieves are held accountable.

I have checked a search engine which checks dealer stocks of medals but had no luck. I will continue checking it periodically.

Best wishes,

Joseph

I don't want to be pessimistic (although I frequently am) but one has to hope that the thief has a fence with more than a handful of brain cells so that the medals actually do go on sale and can be spotted. The danger is that some lackwit looks at them, goes Duurrr and throws them away.

The only hope is that when someone tries to research on the internet  ie

3793 Pte.J.Woodward

it now comes top of the list now in google as stolen medals

so there is always hope
