This photograph shows what I believe is an agricultural Labour Company and probably dates from 1917-18. I think the picture was taken near Burbage Wharf, Wiltshire, and the traction engines are Fowlers. In the background (under the sheet) is a baler and the four women are all wearing uniforms including one Land Army girl. Does anybody know if this group represents an entire company or throw some light on what might be going on? Any help will be much appreciated.
