Hi, I am writing a short article about this nurse, please can any one help?- sparked off by researching into the owner of a London Hospital badge. it is primarily for the schools of nursing web site , she was matron in /at the royal national orthopaedic hospital 1902-1914, and again 1919-1933
imbetween she went as Matron to the Military hospital Bagthorpe, Nottingham, gaining the RRC 1st class in 1916(not actually awarded unitl 1918 in alexandria by the duke of connaughht), in 1916 she went to the QAINSR...AND WAS POSTED TO ? NUMBER 26 STATIONARY HOSPITAL , eGYPT, UNTIL 1918 WHEN SHE WAS MATRON ON THE hospital ship Assaye until her demob in 1919 when re turned to the RNOH.
I have no photo of her, and none seem to have survived the RNOH  records move to the LMA, ditto only 1 relative that ive found may have a photo.
I hope that this is an ok request for this forum, many thanks Sarah

Hi Sarah,

Welcome to the Forum.

I'm afraid that I cannot help you with your request, but hopefully one of the several members with a specific interest in nursing will be along soon to fill in a few gaps for you, or at least point you in a direction which may enable you to find the details you require.

Good Luck,

Robert
