I found this particularly interesting when I came upon it this morning.

From the programme listing:

Historian Vernon Bogdanor delivers a lecture entitled Diplomacy: Sir Edward Grey and the Crisis of 1914 at the Legatum Institute in London, from Thursday 26 September.

Thanks Liz.

I think it's all to easy to imagine we know exactly what went on, when and why, in the build-up to the outbreak of war, and I felt that the lecturer; Vernon Bogdanor, CBE, FBA, Research Professor at the Institute for Contemporary British History at King's College London, clearly knew his subject (or at any rate, appeared to) which made listening to what he had to say not only interesting, but informative.
