Would lika any information about Uncle Charles Miles, S40468
5th Battalion Cameron Highlanders. Does anyone know if there are photos of the men?

S/40468 Private Charles Miles.
According to SDGW cd:

Born: Felkirk, Barnsley
Enlisted: Sheffield
Residence: Brierley, Yorks
Killed in Action: 3 May 1917

I ran a check on the SDGW cd and it reckons that 91 OR's of the 5th Bn 'died' on the 3/5/17. A closer look revealed 89 killed in action, 1 died, 1 died of wounds.
