This my most ambitious project so far. The figure is 120mm high and made from resin. So far the figure has been assembled as far as possible to allow for painting and has been primed with grey car primer. His face and cap band have been painted next is the rest of his cap. If anyone is wondering where the cockades have gone from his cap they are behind his left ear, a practice quite common judging from period photo's

Done some more, Mutze & jacket have been painted and highlighted shading to be done today.

Wow - that is awesome !!

Where did the figure come from?  Did you make him or buy a moulded figure?

I would love something like that on my desk, especially a Grenadier Guard.

I haven't seen any models of Grenadier Guardsmen I'm afraid.

Jacket has been shaded, also boots and over trousers have been painted. Next step is the equipment, most of which will be painted and glued into place.

Got a little further. The figure represents a soldier of 4th Bavarian Inf. Regt.
