Hi I just joined today with the hope of locating my great grandfathers death penny. I do geneology and found on his Canadian Millitary site a picture of his penny. Speaking with the authority of this site she told me that the penny was found by someone who locates millitary objects and takes pictures for proper documentation for that particular soldier. This investigator found the penny on ebay but doesn't remember when he found it or who the buyer/seller was. Ebay was of no help in assisting me and search engines only go back 3 months, no luck. I'm finding that collectors in this field are very secretitive about their collections. Is there anyone out there that knows of a plaque of a Canadian soldier by the name of Frederick Robert English, WWI, died in France. Any help would be very appreciated.

Canuk69 and C Clive.
Posting wants on here irritates all the lads and lassies who donate to this thread and they are less likely to help you as posts like yours are corrupting it and filling it with these off topic requests. This is NOT a wants topic. There is one of those elsewhere on this forum. I am sure all who have medals, plaques, awards etc, check the wants topic to see if they have something that a pal wants, I certainly do and never reply to them should I have what they want after corrupting this topic. You have no idea how difficult this thread was to begin. If it continues to become more corrupted I will ask the moderators to pull it altogether.
Tom.
