Good Man Donny!!! Thanks for taking the time, it really is very much appreciated.

Just the one to add for myself, my Christmas pressie.

James Dunion.

Purchased from the family although why they would sell their heritage on ebay is really beyond me..

Now then who's next?
Regards.
Tom.

Tom my good friend.
Still enjoying my wee mons star.
Purchased an original clasp for it as well.

Give me some advice if you can...
I still trying to hunt down the original issues of the star and victory medals to my great grandfather.
Is this now futile or what else can I do?

Good man Trenchtrotter, the question marks have me puzzled but it is not necessary to clarify. I am just very pleased that you have listed them.
Peter.
I am as happy as you are that the blank star went to someone who would appreciate it. As for other blank medals I really have no experience with them. If you want to go down the road of copies there are lots to choose from on ebay. I am also delighted that you managed to find a clasp, they can be difficuly to locate.
If I can help in any other way just pm me. (This page is really only for guys and gals posting the names on the awards they possess).
Kindest regards.
Tom.

Museumtom,

More than one man with that name on SDGW. Cannot state for certain which regiment. Will list my medals later. Am interested with anyone who has medals for men bearing the name Thurlow, my family name. There are approx 250 Thurlows who served of which 50 paid the ultimate price. Remembering all.
