Page-Bull, Ronald, 2nd Lieutenant, 4th Northampton Regiment died 30th October 1918 aged 19. Only son of of Richard Page Bull and Annie of Deddington, Oxford. Buried in Highland Cemetery, Le Cateau, Nord France

Commemorated on the East Wretham War Memorial and also on the Thiepval Memorial, Somme, France His brother Brian Gabriel survived the Great War and served as 2nd Lieutenant, Dorsetshire Regiment, Acting Captain, 1/21 Punjabis and Lieutenant with the Indian Army

His burnt record shows that he attested 24th February 1911. When he was station at Maldon, Essex 21st September 1914 he signed his name as Christopher Thomas. Commemorated on a window in the cloisters of Worcester Cathedral and is buried in Warlencourt British Cemetery, France

BEAUCHAMP John Charles, Guardsman 9783, 2nd Grenadier Guards, died of wounds 25th September 1916. Native of St Mary’s Oxford. Commemorated on the Thiepval Memorial, Somme, France.
AMOS, Albert Lewis, 2nd Lieutenant, South Wales Borderers, formerly Private 42950, Royal Fusiliers. Promoted to 2nd Lieutenant 25th February 1915. Died of wounds 30th January 1921. Husband of A L Amos, of Town House, Bredwardine, Herefordshire. His brother William Vincent Amos also came up through the ranks. Private 19, Royal Fusiliers and Lieutenant with the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry, applied for his medals. His address was 4. Oatlands Road, Oxford. Albert is not listed with the CWGC.

COTTERILL, William Joseph, Corporal, 43076, Royal Irish Fusiliers, formerly Corporal 2948, Connaught Rangers, died of wounds at Rouen, 8th September 1916 aged 23. Son of William Thomas and Sarah of 2. Railway Cottages, Sudbury, Derbyshire. Native of Marchington, Staffordshire.
Some information from his Burnt Record. Joined the Connaught Rangers at Kilworth Camp, Cork, Ireland 12th September 1914. Promoted to L/Cpl 24th April 1915 and then to Cpl, 26th June 1915.
His occupation on enlistment was a Railway Porter. He had typhoid 6th September 1915 and he was invalided to the 3rd W G Hospital, Newport, Monmouthshire, Wales. From the 9th July 1915 to 23rd December 1915 serving at Alexandria, Egypt. with the B.E.F., France 8th August 1916 until his death 8th September 1916. He is buried in St Server Cemetery, Rouen, France.
DUNSTAN, George Clement, Corporal 10128, 7th North Staffordshire Regiment died at Gallipoli, 21st September 1915 aged 19. Son of Thomas and Ada of Sudbury, Derbyshire. Commemorated on the Helles Memorial, Turkey.
GREENSMITH, Wilfred, Private 61550, 2nd Lincolnshire Regiment, died of wounds, 30th October 1918 in France aged 19. Son of George and Gladys of Sudbury, Derbyshire. Native of Stramshall, Staffordshire. Buried at Awoingt, British Cemetery, France

WEST, Richard Hemming, Trooper 442, 1st Life Guards, Household Cavalry, killed in action 19th May 1918 at Etaples, France aged 19. Native of Fern Hill Heath, Worcester. Son of Charles and Elizabeth of “The Kennels” Milton, Peterborough. Buried in Etaples Military Cemetery, France.
VERNON. True surname is VENABLES-VERNON, Lord, George Francis Augustus, 8th Baron, Captain, Derbyshire Yeomanry who died in St Andrews Hospital, Malta of illness contracted in Gallipoli, 10th November 1915 aged 27. Buried in Pieta Military Cemetery, Malta. (Extract from the New York Times, dated 12th November 1915) He was once in the Diplomatic Service having been Honorary Attache at Constaninople in 1908 and attached to the Legation at Munich from 1909 until the outbreak of the war. He was a page boy at King Edward’s Coronation. Son of Captain, George William Henry and Frances Margaret nee Lawrence

Gunner 81213, 11th Siege Battery, Royal Garrison Artillery. Died of Wounds at 18. Main Dressing Station France 27th October 1917 aged 21. Son of Frank and Matilda of Balterley, Crew, Cheshire. Native of Woore, Shropshire. He is at rest in Minty Farm Cemetery, Belgium.

Private 6/2140, Canterbury Regiment, N.Z.E.F. died 14th August 1915 aged 31. Son of Thomas and Annie of Pear Tree Lake, Balterley, Crew, Cheshire and brother of George Percy who also fell.
