Where did French pilots stay when on leave in Paris? Where were popular eateries and other entertainment venues (taverns and bars and other places where those guys went to let off steam)? I like specifics....specific names and locations where possible. Anyone know of good sources for what life was REALLY like on the airdrome (and nearby)?
