Great War Forum > The War On Other Fronts > Away From The Western Front > Italy

On a recent visit to Asiago I picked up a leaflet entitled `ecomuseo grande guerra' at the tourist office, it gives a link to the following site: http://www.reggenza.com/ecomuseo/uk/index.html#, this is to the English language site. The `ecomuseo...' is an initiative to protect World War 1 sites in northern Italy. The website is extensive and well worth visiting. It has a number of short films from the time, information on current projects, a list of objectives, plus much more.

Thanks Stephen.

I hope to visit the area one day so this is good news.

Pleased to see and hear that Stephen. I wish they'd included the San Sisto ridge among their sites though.

There's a email contact page at the site so perhaps if a few of us asked them to take a look at San Sisto they might.
