Johan, you have not posted the forename of `your' BROWNE, but could that this be he - but P.25 puzzles me somewhat - it may well be that it is a `small vessel in which he was serving when the recommendation was given !!! ;
BROWNE Guy F N/E Flt.Lt. RNAS 83P253 P.25
C-in-C Portsmouth N/E N/E
Action with enemy submarines 13-14.03.18 N/E
Their Lordships' appreciation expressed to this (these) officers for the promptness and skill with which they carried out attacks on enemy submarines on the 13-14th March, 1918.
The Commander-in-Chief, Portsmouth reports of the attack of the 14th March, that it was well carried out and showed good organisation.
