My brother Kieron will be attending the Opening Ceremony tomorrow

with some members of the Irish U.N. Veterans Association Post Number 1 (Felix Grant D.S.M.)

from London.

My other brother Anthony who snapped these shots in the link will also attend,

hopefully they will get better weather than when I was there in August 2008.

Unfortunately I cannot attend myself, but that's the way it goes.

Hallo Gentlemen, biggrin.gif

my brother Anthony, has added another album with regards the Castlebar Peace Park Opening.

http://www.castlebar.ie/gallery/main.php?g2_itemId=19212

185 pictures, starting with the parade through town jumping.gif many showing medals,

there is also pictures of many military veterans from the U.K.

America, etc, pictures of the Irish Army Guard of Honour, Irish Army Band, Drummers & Pipers from the British Army,

the President of Ireland etc..etc..

Judging from the pictures, the memories of these brave Mayo men & women,

who served and died in WW1, WW2 and other conflicts

has been served proud. May they all + Rest In Peace +

I am sorry, that I could not have been there, but I see my brother Kieron there flying the flag for the Ryan Clan.

Please do take a look.
