Thoroughly impressed by the Then & Now thread on the Western Front subforum, I thought how about one for Other Theatres?

Here's a few from Salonika to start the ball rolling.

Doiran Railway Station 1918 and 2008:

"Reina Margherita" Hospital in Salonika. The civilian hospital of the Italian community pre-war, used as a military hospital by the Italian forces during the Salonika Campaign. Now the Hospital for Infectious Diseases:


(can't get a full frontal shot nowadays because of the trees!)

KONDOA
The Church used as a hospital in May 1916 at Kondoa Irangi, German East Africa. Hospital moved from here after being shelled by a gun from the Koenigsburg from behind South hill nearby.
