Has anybody come across W H L Watson, A Company of Tanks, Edinburgh ; London : William Blackwood, 1920? I'd be interested to hear your thoughts about it.

I assume this is the same WHL Watson who wrote of his time as a dispatch rider - subsequent reprintings reflecting stages of promotion.

Indeed it is - its a very good desciption of the formation of D Bn, initial training their first actions at Arras and Bullecourt as well as 3rd Ypres and Cambrai.
