Hi all,
I am looking for a map that shows places where soldiers were buried before they were moved to CWGC cemeteries (if you get what im trying to say) it does not matter where abouts the map is from, but it would be of great help, as i want to include it in my dissatation.
Any help will be greatly apprecated.

Hi Rach.
There are a series of maps called Body Density maps which on some give a name of a temp cemeteteries .Im sure someone will have a copy of one on the Forum, if not The Imperial War Museum have them most of them I think are about 1919 and show how many bodies were found in a certain area.Is that what you want?
Best Regards Andy

The post evacuation Turkish maps of the Gallipoli peninsula are a good example of maps showing battlefield cemeteries (some very small, some far larger) and can be found through the IWN or the Bodleian librar and are reproduced on the WFA Gallipoli Maps DVD.
