For me one of the most interesting yet short lived relationships in the EEF was that between Sir Archibald Murray and Lt.-Gen. Henry Sinclair Horne. Both hugely influencing the future Sinai / Palestine Campaign they apparently did not get on and their relationship was tense from the beginning. Horne constantly pushing to return to the BEF with good connections back to Wilson and Haig.

Anybody have any thoughts on this one ?
