I have been lucky enough to find my grandfathers service papers but they are very scrappy so difficult to interpret. To my shame I know very little about what was going on in Egypt during the conflict. I wonder if any forum pal who knows a bit on the theatre could try to decipher place names on his papers for me. I would also be very keen to learn anything of the work undertaken by MFP at the time in Egypt. Any information would be very well received.
