Do you actually qualify as anything Bruce? A Scouser from Essex. I mean!
I will e-mail one or two pics in due course!

Sorry TT
Just seen the topic. Yes, I think another meet up is now due. My Saturday evenings are free. So lets get on down and boogie!! However, I did get a feeling, from the management of the OC's, that they was not too happy with us sat in the area for dining on our last meeting. Perhaps, the same venue but sat out in the main seats area.
Give me a couple of weeks notice though, I need to save for my bus fare and enough for an half.

Is that me the "Leader" ? Can I use it on my CV to get a job? Tried everything else. Sat June 5th sounds good to me. Is that OK for other Forum members who are thinking of popping along for our little soiree.
Cheers

I think that is 4 "yes's" so far. Is that enough for a quorum? (If he attends, I think Matt and I will have a sub-meeting talking about cycling!). Presumably the OC you are talking about is the one on the corner of Edmund Street and Livery Street?

Forum member David Fowler usually makes a visit too. I will contact him. Otherwise there will be myself, Alan Tucker, Owen Hales, Subutone, Trench Trotter, Stephen White and no doubt his "better half", Roger H and my mate Dave Vaux will be with me and usually brings some ephemera relating to the Royal warwicks.
Sat 27 June is Armed Forces Day 2009 and there will be an event held in Birmingham. There is going to be a display put on by the Living History Group, the Birmingham Pals, and they are prepared to give a large amount of space within their marquee/tent for Dave Vaux and myself to put on a display about the Birmingham Pals in WW1 (14, 15 & 16 Royal Warwicks).
We will be situated outside the Council House. All forum members are very welcome to visit us on the day, but if anyone wants to stay a bit longer and chat to the public and pass on any knowledge about researching relatives etc, then come aboard you will be very welcome. Know doubt the Living History guys will keep us topped up in tea etc
Cheers

Looking forward to our next meeting. Only hope its sooner than later. There was a brief mention of a battlefield visit either using a couple of cars or a mini-bus. I would be up for it.
