Parallel Lives: 'The Memory of Gallipoli in Australia, Ireland and Beyond'
Why should a failed allied invasion of Turkey on the 25th of April 1915 loom so large on Australia's commemorative calendar, and yet count for so little among fellow combatants in Ireland, Britain and France?
Prof. Stuart Ward (UCD) compares and contrasts the memory of war.
Talk takes place in the AV Theatre. Places are limited and will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

Drop in to the Activity Area, where you can make your own ID tags and participate in some family fun.

Heroes of Gallipoli
Original footage of the Gallipoli campaign (July 1915). Will be played on a loop every 20 minutes until 5pm.
Drop in event, located in the AV theatre.

Tour of the World War One gallery of Soldiers & Chiefs.
Places are limited to 15 and are allocated on a first come first served basis.
